Job Description

To interview and council clients about various mortgage products and to take mortgage loan applications. Determine applicants' qualifications; providing detailed information about mortgage and equity loan products; clarify complexities of the mortgage/equity loan process; and evaluate, personalize, and recommend financing alternatives. To build and maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, and other centers of influence.

Experience

Preferred Experience

  • You are Authorized to work in the USA.
  • You currently have an Active NMLS License in Florida
  • Minimum 4 years of Recent Mortgage Loan Origination experience.
  • You can consistently average a $500,000+ Loan Volume per month.
  • Business Development--You have built a network of trusted referral partners.
  • 100% Commission – Paid off closing date not funded or sold date.

Responsibilities

Responsibilties Include:

  • Train and manage assigned loan originators assigned to team as loan offier assist(s)
  • Analyze referred loans for areas of concern and determine proper course of action (e.g. obtain explanations for derogatory credit)
  • Determine and clients on approved loan conditions and documentation requirements
  • Ensure progress and inclusion of required mortgage processing information
  • Maintain contact with client, Realtor and/or seller during the entire loan process
  • Monitor mortgage loan process and ensure compliance with Federal laws, and secondary market practices, guidelines and regulations
  • Remain available to Clients,real estate agents and assigned loan officer assistant(s) during scheduled evening hours after assigned work days and during scheduled hours on assigned days off (e.g. weekends)
  • Assist LOA in obtaining documentation needed and forward to Mortgage Processor for review
  • Respond to inquiries about mortgage applications, processing status, problems and concerns
  • Seek and leverage opportunities to conduct outside marketing and promotional activities is your target market
  • Build new realtor partnerships thru presentations, local events and realtor/trade shows and events
  • Take first mortgage loan applications via face-to-face interview, mail and telephone
  • Resolve or arrange for resolution of operational/processing issues, inquiries and complaints. Be a team player
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve any issues concerning the processing of applications
  • Review application for completeness, data integrity and accuracy; determine if additional information and/or supporting documentation is required and communicate your intentions with assigned staff/team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
